Party Details
A party will last around 90 minutes, however if there is 6 children or less at the party this time will be reduced to 60 minutes. The maximum age limit for attendees is 16 years of age and the minimum is 4 years of age. The minimum number of children for a party to take place is 4. There is no limit for how many children attend a party, however there must be a 5:1 ratio between children and adults, meaning there must be 1 adult to every 5 children. This obviously means that some parents or guardians must be present at the party to watch over some of the children. If there is a large number of children present at a party e.g. 20, there will be 2 P.G.A. Professionals present. Any children with medical conditions or food allergies must be made known to a member of staff before the party takes place. A non-refundable deposit of £30.00 is required at the time of booking, the remainder of the balance can be paid before or on the day of the party. The price per child is £9.50, golf themed party bag’s can be supplied at the party with an additional cost of £2.20 per person, the party bag’s include 2 fluorescent ball markers, a putting manual, 5 golf tees and 2 airflow golf balls. Drinks and refreshments are included in the price of the party. There will be a drink, packet of crisps and a chocolate bar available for each child. The drinks available will be a choice if either still or fizzy. There will be a selection of different crisps and chocolate. All instructors taking the sessions are CRB checked and have attended safeguarding and protecting children workshops ensuring peace of mind for the parents. Session RundownBelow is a model of what would generally happen in a party:
30 Minutes CoachingThe 30 minutes coaching included in the party will address areas such as the grip, posture, stance and alignment. The swing may also be looked at individually with each person, however this will stay at a basic level as some children at the party’s may have never picked up a golf club before. Games And ActivitiesThe games and activities at the party will include things such as chipping and pitching challenges, long drive competitions and putting competitions. The chipping and pitching and challenges will take place either on the driving range or on the outside tees depending on weather, it will include things like chipping into hoops, nets, cones and tubes all set up specially on the day. The putting competition will take place in the putting green with a basic scoring system being adopted. Finally the long drive competition will take place on the driving range or on the outside tees depending on weather, a small fairway will be setup with distance markers along it to accurately measure the drives. Obviously there will be children of differing ages and sizes at the party’s, to make the competitions and challenges the children will be split up into age groups. We will try to keep the party’s on the outside of the driving range as there is more space and the facilities are slightly better i.e. short-game area, however if there are adverse weather conditions the party’s will be held on the inside of the driving range. Party BagsThe party bags will consist of a small putting manual, this explains with the use of illustrations, the key set up fundamentals with putting i.e. grip, posture, stance and ball position. Also included is 2 airflow golf ball, these are for practice purposes only, they are hollow golf balls made of plastic meaning they can be used around the garden and other non-golf environments. There are also 2 fluorescent ball markers in the bag, these are used to mark your golf ball on the green. Lastly there will be some golf tees in the bag.
